TRADIT, a new database of translators to and from Italian october, 14 2021 TRADIT is the new database to translators da and from Italian created by the "Casa delle Traduzioni" [House of Translations], part of Rome's Public Library, and the website "newitalianbooks" of the Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani. The "Casa delle Traduzioni" besides the library and the cultural center, maintain a non-profit accommodation facility specially to foreign translators of Italian authors. Created in 2011, it makes available over 2.000 books, including dictionaries, encyclopedias, essays and translation manuals to translators, writers, researchers, and anyone else interested in the world of translation. In addition to valuing the work of the translator, it aims to promote the Italian literature abroad.
